
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most famous role was private investigator Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) and for which the actor was nominated five times for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in Drama Series. He won the award in 1985. From 2010 until 2010 Selleck has played New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. Since 2005, he has played the character of Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in a small-town New York City.
