Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first few minutes. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Her UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO in second round. She maintained her dominance as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd won the fight in the first round and received the Performance of the Night Bonus. Her first major fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters received the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 at ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
